It’s been a long road, a long eight years of adventure by foot, hitchhiking, bus, plane, car and freight train. I have no regrets.

With the recent pandemic, the government fucking me over with overpayment of PUA, my inability to find work and my overall stance on being completely done with Capitalism, I have decided to close down the blog. I don’t have the funds to warrant spending money on the server anymore.

I’ll still be out riding trains and traveling between work once you enter this life you can’t really get out of it, but I don’t really want to either. It’s better than being stuck on my knees feeling like I have no way out. I’ll still stick to my writing (though I may steer clear of publishers, they never paid me) and photography. It’s been fun.

Once I backup the site to preserve my stories I’ll be taking the blog down. Thanks for reading if anyone is out there. It’s much appreciated.

Brian Cray is not a cyclist. He’s not a hitchhiker. He’s not a train hopper or an adrenaline junkie. He’s just an ordinary man with gypsy blood in his veins, who can’t seem to settle down. Nothing defines him. He goes wherever this world takes him on this journey we call life, roaming the world, at will, by any means. He aspires for a life of indefinite travel, a tiny home in the woods for him and his wife, and any work that keeps him wanderin’. Brian Cray is a travel writer at heart, sharing his stories with the world one keystroke at a time.
