So I normally don’t post such updates, but with my recent hiatus from YouTube and posting stories I thought I would update everyone on what’s going on with my channel and blog postings.
My last long trip was hitching and riding from Rutland, VT to Davenport, IA back in mid September. I have about 6 or 7 episodes for YouTube that will be apart of a mini series. Each episode will be no longer than 10 minutes with an aim for 7 minutes and will be well edited with both train footage as well as random blurbs by the tracks.
With winter here and the snow, I am spending my time writing two books and working part time as a server, so I am not sure when I will get around to editing and uploading the episodes to YouTube.
I would also like to get back into the swing of writing more train riding short stories about my experiences in Canada, New England and out as far as Davenport. That might be much further down the road as I have less free time on my hands.
Diary of a Digital Tramp covering my 2017 travels by train is still 80 to 90% done and will be available for download soon for free. I may end up self publishing on my own and trying to find a book printing service. I would rather not involve big corporations, so if you know of anything let me know. It’s something I have been working on for quite some time and will finish in the near future with more free time.
Other updates include the recent update to the blog and disabling of some plugins because someone tried to hack the site and delete everything. Probably some nerd who never leaves his house, eats cheesy poofs and wacks it to hentai? I don’t know. Anyway, these adventure stories and videos are provided for free. I will continue to host this site out of my own pocket to preserve my adventures of the last six years, so keep coming at me, because I have backups and you’re just wasting your time.
Gallery plugins have been disabled until further notice and I will have to find a replacement. However, bugs are in the process of being fixed and may take some time.
If you have adventure short stories you would like hosted or posts about train culture, monikers, etc. feel free to drop me a line. Thanks and enjoy the upcoming material that I will slowly release as I work on other projects in my life.
